DeSoto Parish is all about the outdoors, considered a "diamond in the forest!" Not only do we have beautiful piney woods to explore, hike, bike, ATV and go birding, we have a shooting range and fishing along one of the top bass fishing lakes in the country, Toledo Bend Lake, Sabine River, as well as other area hotspots, like Bayou Pierre Lake. There are three noted boat launches as well as places to stay, right along the riverfront.
Fishing enthusiasts will find plenty of those largemouth bass, sandbass, crappie, catfish and other freshwater varieties.
